Where family tradition became a passion for baking

(Generations of Grace)
Butter & Grace is also a tribute to someone very special in my life—Mama Irene, whose life was a beautiful example of grace, strength and longevity. She lived to be 102 years old, and the “Grace” in Butter & Grace honors the legacy she leaves behind.
When Mama Irene passed away in August 2026, her passing became a turning point for me. Life had reminded me, in a deeply personal way, that dreams should not always be saved for someday. After years of baking for the people I love, I decided it was time to pursue a dream of my own: building Butter & Grace.
Her grace is now part of its name. Her memory is part of its story.
My love for baking began at home. When my daughter was just two years old, I decided to make her birthday cake myself. Everyone loved it, and although I didn’t know it then, that little birthday cake would become the beginning of something much bigger.
Years later, I made an Oreo cake for my son, Devonte, for his birthday. He loved it so much that it became a family tradition. Every year, he wanted Mom’s Oreo cake. Eventually, Eduardo followed his uncle’s lead, and the tradition continued into another generation.
Before long, baking wasn’t simply something I did. It had become part of the way our family celebrated, gathered and made memories together.
Over the years, baking became more than something I did for birthdays. I began experimenting with flavors, trying new combinations and creating cakes that my family would request again and again. “Today, my Strawberry Crunch Cake is a family favorite.”
What I enjoy most, however, is seeing people's expressions when they taste something I've made. Knowing that something created with my own hands can bring someone joy gives me joy and peace in return.
What began around our family table has grown into Butter & Grace—a place where cherished traditions, handcrafted desserts, and the joy of sharing something special come together.
As we share our creations beyond our own family, we hope they become a sweet part of your celebrations and memories, too.
From our family to yours, welcome to Butter & Grace.
